Due to our expansion and to gain that competitive edge, we are seeking an enthusiastic, honest and \\\\\\\\"hands on,\\\\\\\\" Guest Service Manager to oversee daily Front Office operations. We are seeking a candidate that will motivate and mentor hourly staff while providing and maintaining the highest levels of guest service. Additionally, the individual must be able to build relationships through continuous interaction with other departments within the resort in an expeditious and courteous manner -- while focusing on problem solving guest service issues

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years as Front Office Manager experience in large, upscale, full-service 5 stars hotels. Previous International hotel chain experience desired. Communication and correspondence in English MUST be excellent .This position requires an energetic, ambitious leader with a passion for the business, who leads by example and is prepared to jump in support his/her staff at any time. Besides front office operations management and supervision, this person should be eager to learn hotel operations management; yield management, accounting, reporting, etc. Problem solving person and handle complain diplomatically. Take care of all guest relation and build up rapport with the in house
Success depends on ability: to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; to lead others and create high levels of teamwork; to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; to connect with associates and customer to create and build loyalty.
- Supervises staffing levels to both maximize guest satisfaction and
economic profitability.
-Managing a staff of 10-15 people including front office clerks, reservationists, bellman, and night auditors.
-The Front Office Manager is responsible for directing the daily shift activity of the front desk agents and providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests while maximizing revenue and occupancy through yield management.
-Must follow hotel procedures while maintaining a clean, safe and motivated work environment.
-Responsible for training and evaluating front desk staff.
-Forecasting
- Maximizes both room revenue and occupancy by understanding the process
of revenue management.
- Cooperates and communicates with other department heads as required.
- Flexible with work schedules
- Strong computer technical skills; proficient with Fidelio
-Must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
-Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to direct, develop and motivate staff.
-Maintaining the GDS system and online reservations
- Ensure that current information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the Front Desk and that all staff are knowledgeable on such
